Real Estate Terms:
To register to bid, you will need a Check tpayable to the Escrow Agent, McNeese Title, in the amount of $1,000. This check will be handed over to the Auction Clerk and back to each unsuccessful bidder at the conclusion of the sale.
The winning bidder will sign a contract and be required to place a bid deposit equal to 10% of the bid amount on Auction Day. A personal check for this amount is acceptable The Seller will have up to 3 days to execute the contract.
Terms of Sale are "AS IS, WHERE IS". Buyers will pay all closing costs. 2016 Real Estate Taxes shall be prorated to the day of closing. The property will be purchased subject to the existing City of Destin Code violations (Buyer shall satisfy themselves as to the extent thereof), otherwise, will be free of all liens and encumbrances of record.
Buyer’s Premium:
A buyer’s premium of ten percent (10%) will be added to the high bid to determine the total price to be paid (Buyer pays). The cashier's check that is required to register to bid can be used towards the 10% down.
Closing:
The closing shall take place no later than fifteen (15) days after the auction at the offices of McNeese Title, LLC, at 36468 Emerald Coast Pkwy Destin, FL, Phone: (850) 337-4242. McNeese Title will serve as your escrow agent. You must bring either a Cashier’s Check or wired funds at closing. No purchase shall be contingent on financing or any other contingencies.
